1. Scrape sweet potato and carrot and cut both into small pieces. Put sweet potato and carrot with a little bit of cumin into a salted water and let it boil. Simmer until carrot is soft (sweet potato is boiled a few minutes earlier).

1. Oškrábeme batátu a mrkev, obojí nakrájíme na menší kousky a dáme spolu s troškou kmínu vařit do osolené vody. Vaříme tak dlouho, dokud není mrkev měkká (batáta je uvařená o chvilku dříve).

2. Cut the meat, onion and tomato into small pieces.

2. Nakrájíme si maso, cibuli a rajče na malé kousky.

3. Fry the onion at the drop of an olive oil, add the meat and tomatoes, add a pinch of salt and oregano and fry for about 7 minutes, until the meat is completely done.

3. Na kapce olivového oleje osmahneme cibulku, přidáme maso a rajčata, posolíme, přidáme špetku oregána a smažíme asi 7 minut, dokud není maso zcela hotové.

4. Mashed the sweet potato and carrot.

4. Uvařenou batátu s mrkví slijeme a rozšťoucháme.
